About Miguel Fernández:

Rural leader, human rights defender, Master in Human Rights and Culture of Peace. He is currently the president of the subcommittee of the Central Union of Workers CUT-Cauca.

About CIMA:

This network of peasant organizations operates in 13 municipalities in Cauca and 9 in Nariño. They are dedicated to the defense of territory and identity amid agricultural, livestock, and environmental challenges that have affected rural communities. They seek recognition for peasants and aspire to better living conditions through a comprehensive land reform.

Acerca de Miguel Fernández:

Es un líder campesino y defensor de Derechos Humanos. Posee un magíster en Derechos Humanos y Cultura de Paz. Actualmente, es el presidente de la Subdirectiva de la Central Unitaria de Trabajadores CUT-Cauca.

Acerca de CIMA:

Esta red de organizaciones campesinas opera en 13 municipios del Cauca y 9 de Nariño. Están dedicados a la defensa del territorio y la identidad frente a los desafíos agrícolas, pecuarios y ambientales que afectan a las comunidades campesinas. Su objetivo es el reconocimiento de los campesinos y trabajan para mejorar las condiciones de vida mediante una Reforma Agraria Integral.
