About Anita Donndorff & Federico Diaz Duo:

Singer Anita Donddorff and guitarist Federico Díaz recently met in New York City and discovered a unique way to recreate and explore the music of their homeland, Argentina, as well as some boleros and folkloric gems from other Latin American countries. Anita’s jazz-sounding voice, Federico’s refined guitar sound, as well as the unmistakable South American flavor, are the main elements of their vibrant versions

About Anita Donndorff:

Argentinian vocalist Anita Dondorff, one of the most influential jazz artists in her native Buenos Aires, moved to New York in 2023. She has collaborated with award-winning artists such as Ed Cherry, Benny Benack, Paul Sikivie, Héctor Martignon, Hernán Jacinto or Juan Cruz de Urquiza. In 2020 she released her first album, "You Invade All My Dreams", with pianist Dante Picca. The album includes some classics from the Great American Songbook, along with compositions and arrangements of her own. She then released three singles 2021, which are new versions of classic Boleros, acknowledging her Latin roots and showing her versatility. Later this year she will be releasing her new album "Thirsty Soul", which also includes both old standards and Anita's compositions, in a crossover between the refined sound of jazz tradition and a current and Latin approach.
