About Alejo de los Reyes:

Alejo de los Reyes, an Argentine guitarist, began his musical journey in his hometown of Chivilcoy, inspired by his conservatory-teaching parents. He mastered classical guitar under his father and embraced tango with his mother. Moving to Buenos Aires, Alejo performed in various venues and accompanied prominent Argentine musicians. His European tours since 2011 broadened his repertoire to include early European music.

His discography reflects a blend of Argentine folk, tango, and Renaissance music, notable in his 2022 album "Al compás de la vihuela". His collaborations extend to several albums and artists, including the Cuarteto de los Reyes. Alejo's global performances have garnered acclaim, particularly in a 2016 Geneva concert.

Alongside performing, Alejo teaches guitar, runs a music-themed blog, hosts the interview program "La Posta," and explores film and composition projects. His work "Mariposa del aire" with artist Isol, honoring Federico García Lorca's poems, is a highlight of his compositional achievements.

Pablo Aslan, an Argentine-born bassist and composer, has been a prominent figure in both traditional and contemporary tango since moving to the United States in 1980. His notable contributions to the genre are evident through his extensive discography, which includes acclaimed works like "Piazzolla in Brooklyn" and "Tango Grill," the latter earning him Latin Grammy and Grammy nominations. His latest album, "ConTraBajo," showcases his talents as a soloist with a diverse range of pieces from Villa-Lobos to Ellington, along with his own flamenco and tango-inspired compositions, featuring guest artists like Paquito D’Rivera.
