About Cordeone:
A prodigious self-taught multi-instrumentalist, started his musical odyssey at age 9, deeply rooted in his Portuguese heritage. He has become synonymous with the Portuguese guitar, earning accolades for his contribution to Fado music, including the 2019 Best Fado Album and the 2022 Best Fado Performance at the International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMAs). His talent blossomed early, mastering instruments from the accordion to the drums, and paving his way through Lisbon's prestigious Fado houses alongside luminaries like Ricardo Ribeiro and Pedro Moutinho.
Residing in the United States, he's one of the few professionally trained Portuguese guitarists, dedicated to nurturing future talents through his Mirelo School of Music. His diverse musical journey also includes a stint in the punk rock band Killing The Short Circus, reflecting his eclectic musical influences and collaborative spirit.
Celebrated for his dynamic and soulful performances, CORDEONE continues to bridge cultures and generations, crafting music that embodies his rich Portuguese legacy and innovative artistic identity.
