About Francisco David Pino Illanes:

known as David Pino, is a renowned flamenco artist from Puente Genil, Córdoba, born in 1972. A recipient of prestigious awards like the Soleá prize at the International Festival del Cante de las Minas in 2003 and the National Prize at the Córdoba Flamenco Art Contest in 2007, Pino has gained international acclaim. He has performed in countries such as Mexico, Japan, Russia, and across Europe, showcasing his talent in flamenco singing and theater.

Pino's career includes collaborations with notable artists and groups, acting in flamenco operas and theatrical works, and being part of esteemed flamenco festivals and competitions. In 2008, he joined Manolo Sanlúcar's ensemble, marking a significant milestone in his career. His first album, "Mi largo caminar," released in 2018, reflects his extensive journey in flamenco music.

An accomplished educator, Pino has taught at various universities and conservatories, focusing on flamenco studies. He has been a professor at the University of Córdoba and held a chairmanship in Flamencology since 2019. With a deep commitment to flamenco education and culture, Pino continues to contribute significantly to the flamenco arts, both in performance and academic spheres.

About Guillermo Guillen:

Guillermo Guillén, a distinguished flamenco guitarist, was born in France and honed his skills in Spain. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has taught and performed flamenco globally, living currently in the New York City area. Guillén founded FlamencoMaps, an educational platform and YouTube channel, enriching flamenco enthusiasts worldwide with his expertise.

Starting his journey in France in 1999, Guillén moved to Seville in 2006, immersing himself in the flamenco culture. His notable collaboration with flamenco singer Rocío Márquez led to winning the “Lámpara Minera” prize in 2008 and extensive international tours. Guillén has worked with acclaimed artists across the flamenco spectrum and has been featured in significant festivals and venues worldwide, including in Spain, France, Russia, Canada, and the USA.

In addition to performing, Guillén has contributed as a composer and arranger for various international flamenco companies and has taught alongside prominent flamenco figures. His creative endeavors extend to producing innovative works that blend flamenco with other music styles, earning critical acclaim. Guillén continues to influence the flamenco world through his performances, teachings, and creative projects.
