About José Bautista Vargas (Joselin Vargas):
Percussionist - Composer – Singer. Born in Madrid, son of the renowned flamenco guitarist Enrique Escudero, Joselin Vargas began his musical career at the age of 12 with his first guitar. However, his true potential flourished as a percussionist, especially with the cajón, which established him as a professional musician. From the 90s to the present, he has toured and recorded with the elite of pop and flamenco music.
As a composer and singer, Joselin has written songs for prominent artists such as Niña Pastori, Rosario Flores, and Diego Torres. He has worked on recordings and tours with legendary figures like Camarón, José Mercé, Enrique Morente, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, Ketama, Pata Negra, Alejandro Sanz, Rocío Jurado, and Remedios Amaya, among many others.
Currently, Joselin Vargas resides in New York, where he continues to develop new musical projects.
