About Humberto Pernett:

A Colombian musician recognized for blending Caribbean and Colombian music with electronic elements.

From an early age, Pernett experimented with music, producing his own songs on cassette and versions of traditional tunes with synthesizers. His creativity led him to become a prominent figure in Colombian folklore.

After studying musical composition at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Pernett joined Sidestepper, with whom he toured the United States, Mexico, and Europe.

As a solo artist, he released several albums, including "Musica Pa´Pick Up" (2004) and "El Mago" (2009), where he experimented with Pacific sounds and symphonic arrangements.

In 2012, his album "The Caribbean Computer" was acclaimed in Japan and nominated for the Independent Music Awards in Spain in 2013.

In addition to his music career, Pernett has ventured into audiovisual production, starring in the documentary "Región de Maravillas" (2014), exploring the gastronomy and music of the Colombian Atlantic Coast.

Currently, Pernett is a DJ and music producer on the Colombian comedian Andrés López's program "La Noche", and continues to release music through his label "Pernett Records", collaborating with various artists and producing remixes.
