About Gabo Naas: Born in Patagonia, Argentina, Gabo spent his early years playing guitar and bombo drum with his father, developing a deep connection with Latin American music. After learning clarinet in a hometown band, he moved to study and hone his multi-instrumentalist talent. Settling in Córdoba, Argentina, he studied composition with a focus on Latin American music and jazz. Gabo later lived in Buenos Aires (2005-2008), establishing himself as a composer and director of his Latin jazz ensemble. After moving to Berlin, he formed a Latin jazz quartet, wrote film music, and collaborated with various musicians. Recently, he has been focusing on his vocal and guitar repertoire, consisting of modern interpretations of traditional Latin American styles with jazz nuances. With deep knowledge of Argentine and South American music, his experience results in a mature concept where voice and instruments harmoniously create a sophisticated personal sound. In 2023, he will present his album “Del Tiempo y la Distancia," featuring renowned South American musicians.
